Technical feasibility – this is concerned with specifying equipment and software that will successfully satisfy the user requirements.
Economic feasibility – this is concerned with analyzing costs and benefits associated with the proposed project. There is also a process called cost estimating that “attempts to predict the final outcome of a future capital expenditure” (Chen 1996). The overall process to see the financial needs can be referred to as ‘Cost / Benefit Analysis’.
Schedule feasibility – mainly to do with determining whether or not the project will be completed within a specified time frame. Schedule feasibility ensures that the project can be finished and will be useful to end-users after deploying the system for a set time.
Operational feasibility – this is mainly concerned with issues like whether the system will be used if it is developed and implemented.
