myth is that there is a motivation to lead. This I disagree with in that if a person is running for president, what does one intend to do if not lead? A leadership position does not mean that the person will operate effectively in that role. He attempts to come up with the solution of adopting the Maine and Nebraska system, though the process would be just as complicated as the Electoral College system. However, after reading this and the other articles, I still am in firm agreement of the Electoral College. Some of the criticism echoed in each article is that a person does not have a voice or a choice in who they desire to be governed by. I believe that there are two decisions that a person can make while navigating this flawed but working system: they decide whose argument to believe and if they will stand in front of the poll, pen in hand on election day.
